命名由來:
So we have a curious ensemble of wonderful features- carved walls, royal arches, glens, alcove gulches, mounds, and monuments. From which of these features shall we select a name?
We decide to call it Glen Canyon.
我們有如此鬼斧神工的美景，被切割的岩石峭壁、雄偉的海拱、幽谷、山洞、丘陵及名勝古蹟，我們該如何為這個地方命名呢？我們決定就叫她葛蘭峽谷。
